WHY WE LOVE BEING PART OF YACCB:
"We are fulfilled when we are involved in something bigger than ourselves." - John Glenn
Board Meetings are scheduled each month. The next meeting is Monday, February 9, 2026 at 6:30pm at Austintiown Library.
Our President, Karen Lapidus, invites anyone interested to attend the board meetings, either as a visitor or to become part of this special group. YACCB runs smoothly due to the dedication and work of our board members. They are greatly appreciated!
The Roster, Board Minutes, and Financial Statements are available on the Private Page to our members. To request an invitation to set up your password, let the website manager know your interest at rehearsal or complete a contact form.

For those who would like to expand your band experience, you may want to check out a cool opportunity to travel abroad with American Music Abroad 2026.
American Music Abroad (AMA) was founded in 1975 by a high school band director and his wife to fulfill their dream of sharing their love of Europe with high school students, college students, and adults.
American Music Abroad has proudly organized more than 350 international music tours, bringing the joy of performance to over 40,000 participants across Western Europe. In 2022, the program became part of Peak Group Travel, ensuring the continuation and growth of this rich legacy for years to come.
Unfortunately, there is not a lot of information as to cost details on their website. You can call them at 610-431-3311

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, we had the honor of performing at the West Side Bowl for the second year in a row, supporting the LOOP Youngstown Arts and Culture Center. During our performance, the artist James Shuttic painted a live, dynamic piece inspired by the music while we played that night.
Renee Cole, our saxophonist and Board Member, was the winning bidder of this one-of-a-kind artwork at the auction! The painting captures the energy and spirit of the evening.
This annual event is part of LOOP Youngstown's ongoing efforts to make their vision a reality. From their website:
"The initiative of LOOP Youngstown is to purchase a building to create an arts and culture center.
We at the LOOP envision a vibrant scene of artist studios, classes, rehearsals, performances, offices, galleries, artist mentoring, and residencies--we have So. Many. Ideas. You may know a hub like this in another community, and we want to create one near Youngstown, Ohio."
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event!

The hat choice is blue or black and the visor is black. The order form contains all sizes and prices and includes orders for shirts, hats, visors, sweatshirts, and jackets.
