YACCB was honored to receive this certificate from the 135th General Assembly of Ohio that pays tribute to our 40 years as quoted:
"For four decades, the members of the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band have shown profound support and pride for their city by sharing their talents and abilities with local residents, and as a result, they have earned widespread respect and recognition.
Since its establishment, this ensemble has helped to foster an appreciation of music, and they have distinguished themselves as a true treasure to their community.
Throughout long hours of practice and preparation, the musicians of the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band, as well as its conductor, Joseph Pellegrini, have displayed exceptional professional skill, and they have certainly become known as fine Ohio performers. All those associated with the organization have many reasons to be proud, and these fine individuals can rest assured that their accomplishments have garnered them the respect and esteem of their audience.
